Around 800 employees work in the SIERA Alliance on the vision for a better future in the areas of environmental protection and climate, water and ecosystems, circular economy, urban sustainability and infrastructure as well as impact technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The group includes the Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH North<\/strong> with its head office in Hanover. The company currently employs around 120 people in the specialist areas of soil protection and waste, environmental and geotechnical engineering, water management, geoinformation, explosive ordnance and nature conservation.<\/p>\n

We want to protect the precious commodity of water in the best possible way through customized engineering services. Are you passionate about water restoration, do you have a talent for communication and would you like to help us make the world a better place? Then we are looking for you as Expert Water Remediation (m\/f\/d)<\/strong> in Hanover, Osnabr\u00fcck or Hamburg.<\/p>\n

Your tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Technical management and implementation of demanding projects in the Watercourse restoration<\/strong>, incl. Desilting and sediment management.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Conception, planning and monitoring of field investigations, sediment sampling and evaluation of the investigation results.<\/li>\n
  • Carrying out limnological investigations and sampling (e.g. qualitative and quantitative phyto- and zooplankton analyses).<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of expert opinions, technical contributions and reports in accordance with the WFD.<\/li>\n
  • Consultation and coordination with clients, authorities, specialist offices and laboratories.<\/li>\n
  • Further development of sustainable and economical remediation concepts for lakes, ponds, watercourses and retention basins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your profile<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Degree in hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, geoecology, civil engineering or a comparable field.<\/li>\n
    • Several years of professional experience in the water restoration, desilting and limnological projects.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Sound knowledge of hydraulic engineering, limnological and sediment technology issues.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Experience with VOB tenders, HOAI service phases as well as approval and participation procedures.<\/li>\n
    • Structured, solution-oriented way of working, high level of personal responsibility.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communicator, confident negotiator and competent leader.<\/li>\n
